Goodbye Charleston

7 Dec

We have enjoyed several “down days” exploring historic Charleston.

Here are some of our highlights:

  • Cobblestone streets, secret gardens, and amazing pralines
  • Andy and the girls visiting Fort Sumter
  • Old market and the gullah ladies weaving sweet straw baskets
  • Waterfront Park where Stede Bonnet the Gentleman Pirate was hung
  • Historic homes and gas lanterns
  • Running through the the french quarter

Pictures cannot do it justice! We are excited for the next stop, but sad to say goodbye.
