First Day

4 Nov

One would think that the first post about a magnificent journey would be filled with prose about the human desire to explore and the wonder of the world around us. Sometimes, however, the first day of a journey wears one out so much that all they can muster is to describe the first day as such.

  • Woke up really early
  • Said goodbye to amazing friends
  • Fired up the engines
  • Motor sailed 30 miles almost due south to Solomons Island, Maryland
  • Weather was fine albeit a bit cold.
  • Undocked at 8:40 AM…docked at 2:20 PM
  • Had a nap
  • Ate a wonderful dinner of rice, chicken, and broccoli
  • Went to bed

Goodnight all…we are spent!

So excited to follow your adventures Becks! Too bad you can’t sail to China 🙂 Not to mention we are in the middle of the country 🙂
